It's not just about placing pieces; it's about setting up massive combos and keeping your board clean. First, always leave room for large pieces. A common mistake is filling up the board with small pieces, leaving no space for the bulky 3x3 blocks or long lines. Always keep an 'escape hatch' open.

Second, set up multi-line clears. Clearing several lines with a single placement scores far more than clearing them one at a time. Don't clear a single line if waiting one more turn allows you to clear three lines at once. Patience often rewards you with a massive combo bonus.
